Personal Statement

Adedeji-Adeyemi Adeola is a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Jurisprudence & International Law, Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. She graduated from Ogun State University in the year 2003 with a Second Class Upper. She attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2004. She obtained her LLM degree in the year 2008 and she holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from the University of Lagos. She was employed as a researcher by the Lagos State Judicial Service Commission in the year 2005. She left the employment of the State and joined the academia in the last quarter of the year 2019.

She is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Jurisprudence & International Law, University of Lagos conducting research on Anti-Suit Injunctions and Parallel Litigation in Private International Law. Adedeji-Adeyemi is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Her teaching and research interest is rooted within Private International Law, Jurisprudence, Judicial Reform and crosses Law and Development.
