A. Personal Statement

I am a seasoned Senior Advocate of Nigeria with a Doctorate Degree in law from the University of Ilorin. I have a passion for advancing the frontiers of knowledge through research interests on law of terrorism, international Law, Jurisprudence, Human Rights Law, Economic and Financial Crimes Law.

I am committed to strengthening legal scholarship that will enhance systems, institutions, capacity building, technical assistance, international cooperation and legal reforms amongst others.

In both teaching and research, I prioritize socio-legal approach that enriches discourse through emphasis on empirical and non-empirical analysis and studies.

I am also engaged actively in prosecution particularly in the areas of anti-corruption and economic and financial crimes. I also sustain on a regular basis commentary on contemporary issues and developments.
