A. Personal Statement

I am an Associate Professor and legal researcher with a passion for advancing justice, regulatory reform, and inclusive development through law. My research interests lie at the intersection of law, technology, and society, particularly in the areas of digital rights, data protection and people-centred criminal justice. I am committed to producing legal scholarship that informs public policy, strengthens institutions, and empowers vulnerable communities. In both teaching and research, I prioritize a multidisciplinary approach that bridges legal theory with practical relevance, and I actively engage in training, advocacy, and collaboration with stakeholders to build responsive and equitable legal systems in Nigeria and Africa.
