Comparative Corporate Law and Governance Systems

Personal Statement.

I am a Professsor of Law, with special focus on corporate theory, comparative corporate law and governance systems. I am interested in interdisciplinary research, especially on the impact of economics and and sociology, in assessing the efficiency of law and in explaining the behaviours of directors on boards. Besides, I equally explore the impact of advanced information and communication technologies on corporate administration, and how they may influence the shareholders’ behavior as key stakeholder in corporate governance and monitoring. In the knowledge that social developments are always ahead of the law, I therefore have a passion for law reform in order to reduce the gap between law and development, especially  .
