He graduated from Benue State University with<\/p><p>2nd Class (Upper Division) in 2004. He passed the Nigerian Bar Examination with 2nd Class<\/p><p>(Upper Division) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006. He subsequently obtained LL.M.<\/p><p>and Phd degrees at the University of Lagos in 2010 and 2014 respectively. Dr. Akaayar has<\/p><p>several publications to his credit in both national and international journals. He co-authored<\/p><p>International Encyclopaedia of Laws \u2013 Insurance Law: Nigeria 2018, and its revised edition<\/p><p>(2022). He won the Best Researcher Award at the University of Lagos International Research Fair<\/p><p>in 2015. He has served the University in different capacities, including as Faculty of Law<\/p><p>Examination Officer (2014 \u2013 2016); Staff Advisor, Law Student Society (2016 till date); Hall<\/p><p>Warden (2015 \u2013 2019); Hall Master (2019 till date); Departmental Postgraduate Representative<\/p><p>(2016) &amp; (2021 till date); and member of several of University Committees and Panels. He has<\/p><p>traveled widely and is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and Nigerian<\/p><p>Association of Law Teachers (NALT).<\/p><p>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DR.
